Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were of excellent quality, clean, and well-furnished, offering a spacious bathroom with a large bath and shower and a breathtaking view over the garden, pond, and park. The only downside was that it was a bit cold in the evening, especially next to the AirCon units.
The hotel is located excellently, just a short walk into the main town and attractions, and also offers a very pretty part of St Albans. The rooms are a bit tired and could use better cleaning with some missing amenities, but they are well upgraded with comfortable beds and great showers. The service, while generally helpful, had some delays in receiving orders and lacked knowledge of important venues in town. The dining experience was a mix, with tasty food but some timing issues. The location near the city center is convenient, with lots of restaurants and shops close by.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very large with an ultra-modern bathroom, and we absolutely loved the slightly quirky loft room with a sloping ceiling. However, the rooms seemed a bit tired and could use better cleaning.
The hotel was a true mixed experience. The rooms were absolutely stunning and incredibly comfortable, but the lack of a balcony made them feel a bit ordinary. Some aspects should have been improved for a more accurate room description. The service was a rollercoaster, with some staff being friendly and helpful, while others displayed rudeness, especially in the morning. The location was magnificent, especially with the snowy surroundings, offering a lovely setting close to the city center. The dining options varied from nice and quick to poor and lacking communication. Overall, the stay had its highs and lows, making it an average experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while large and comfortable, lacked soundproofing, leading to disturbances from neighboring guests and housekeeping. The afternoon tea setup felt too formal for families with toddlers. On the upside, the service was warm and welcoming, with staff maintaining a casual yet professional demeanor. The location was excellent, just a short walk to town and nearby attractions, although some upgrades are needed. The dining options were varied and of good quality, but improvements could be made to enhance the experience.
